Nemesis

April 1, 2009

Nemesis one of the best rock bands in Bangladesh. They have come a long way and now they have their own style and sound which catches the attraction most. With Maher on guitars and Zohad on vocals, they make the most impressive combination. their compositions, writings can be compared to the international level.
Since I am a rock and alternative fan, I prefer listening to Nemesis because they can provide the sound i need to listen to. This band happens to be one of my biggest inspiration of all time when it comes to music aswell as other creative aspects.

The Concert for Bangladesh

February 13, 2009

The concert for Bangladesh was the first benefit concert put on by Rock Musicians. During the 1971 liberation war,  George Harrison and Pundit Ravi Shankar put on a charity show in Madison Square Gardens. The purpose of this concert is to raise funds for freedom fighters of Bangladesh. As a Bangladeshi and specially being a music lover, this concert, the musicians who put on this show together and all the people behind the scene whose hardend effort helped to make this show possible, I salute them.
I edited this picture for it to be a design on a t-shirt. The poster of “The concert for Bangladesh” is encased with the map of Bangladesh. The red map depicts the bloodshed that occurred during the Bangladesh Liberation War. I believe it potrays patriotism and can also be worn as a fashion accessory.

Lead singer for the rock group the Doors, Jim Morrison was the poster-boy for the mind-bending, outlandish lifestyle of the 1960s in his brief but brilliant career.  On July 3, 1971, Morrison’s girlfriend found him dead in his bathtub. The cause of death was determined to be a heart attack. His death was kept secret until after the funeral to eliminate the crowds of saddened fans that would likely have attended. Morrison’s grave remains one of the most visited sites in all of Paris.
This Photo implimetation is a tribute to the greatest poet Jim Morrison.
